CLASSROOM CIVICS EDUCATION

Student Survey

Our Classroom Civics Education and Voter Registration program reach 65 schools on average each semester. We visit North Texas high schools twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring, to provide a civics lesson and register eligible students to vote. This is to help schools comply with the Texas High School Voter Registration Act, requiring principals to ensure students are given the opportunity to register twice a year.

Our commitment to lawful, nonpartisan voter registration

As a nonpartisan organization dedicated to civic education, we strictly follow all voter registration laws when delivering our programming. Our registration efforts are conducted only by certified Volunteer Deputy Registrars (VDRs) trained by county elections officials. Our certified VDRs clearly outline all voter registration eligibility requirements before distributing forms. We reinforce this information and submit the voter registration forms to the county elections departments to complete the process securely. We are fully committed to transparency, accuracy, and compliance with election law to ensure that every eligible individual has the opportunity to register to vote while safeguarding against the registration of those who do not meet legal requirements.
